Tzo Tze Ang — "The opportunity to come to a world-class institution — it's really life-changing."
University volunteer and philanthropist Tzo Tze Ang (Trinity 1997) is passionate about the contribution Cambridge can make to society and the power of philanthropy to help facilitate world-changing research.
Reflecting fondly upon her time at Trinity College and the opportunities studying at Cambridge provided her, Tzo Tze wanted to give back to the College and the University that changed her life. By providing funding for PhD studentships and postdoctoral fellowships, Tzo Tze is helping to support the very best students and early-career researchers from around the world to study and work at Cambridge. She hopes that her support might one day contribute to a ground-breaking discovery that will benefit all of humankind.
Hopefully, some of the programmes we're funding will be beneficial for humankind. We don't know, but we're willing to give it a go.
Tzo Tze also contributes her time and professional expertise to the University as a member of the fundraising campaign board as well as volunteering her time to help organise alumni events in Hong Kong, where she now lives.
