Korfball is a fun, mixed-gender sport and Cambridge University Korfball Club strives to be an accessible society to all students.

Although small, we are a welcoming and social sports society. We have two competitive teams who do well in BUCS, a local Cambridge korfball league and Varsity.

CUKC is a popular choice for postgraduate, medic and final-year students, as we are a more relaxed club compared to mainstream sports. As we feel strongly about being an inclusive sport, we try to keep our membership fees low, but this can have significant financial implications. For example, in 2019–2020 we wanted to set up a third competitive team, but the club funds could not cover the competition registration costs. Facility hire is the biggest annual cost for the club, and although membership fees cover this, we are limited to only two training sessions a week.

Every year we recruit new players and often see the return of alumni to support and play in Varsity matches. The club would benefit greatly from support in the form of donations, as it would allow us to pay for additional training time, improve new players and get korfball the recognition it deserves!

Thank you for choosing to support Cambridge University Korfball Club. We really appreciate your donation, which will go towards facility hire, equipment and coaching costs so the club can continue to grow.
