An open-access teaching and learning resource facilitating access to scholarship in Social Anthropology for experts and non-experts worldwide.

The Cambridge Encyclopedia of Anthropology (CEA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access internet encyclopedia of social and cultural anthropology for the general public (including undergraduate students, corporate and policy researchers, and scholars of other disciplines). Its purpose is to introduce the public to basic concepts in the field of social and cultural anthropology. Based in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of Cambridge, the CEA does this by publishing engaging expert introductions on topics that have been the focus of substantial research and debate by anthropologists.
